Effective: Jan 1, 2025View Privacy Policy

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or purchasing tickets through Tixio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.

2. Who We Serve

Organizers: Create, manage, and sell tickets for events. Organizers are responsible for event content, pricing, and compliance with local laws.

Attendees: Purchase tickets and receive QR-code tickets for event entry.

Staff: Invited users who scan and manage check-ins for organizer events.

3. Accounts & Security

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Organizers must ensure invited staff have appropriate permissions.

4. Payments & Fees

Tixio uses Stripe Connect to process payments. Application fees are added to the ticket price and paid by attendees.

Payouts go directly to organizer Stripe accounts; Tixio does not hold funds.

Refunds are initiated by organizers. Stripe fees may be non-refundable per Stripe policy.

5. Tickets & Check-in

Each ticket is issued with a unique QR code and is valid for a single entry unless otherwise stated.

Duplicate or altered tickets are invalid. Tixio may cancel tickets suspected of fraud.

Organizers and their staff are responsible for scanning and validating tickets at the event.

6. Prohibited Use

No illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activity.

No infringement of others’ intellectual property.

No attempts to bypass security, rate limits, or manipulate ticketing/checkout flows.

7. Content & License

Organizers retain rights to their event content. You grant Tixio a limited license to display and distribute event information for ticketing and marketing the event.

You represent that you have rights to use any media uploaded (e.g., cover images).

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Tixio is not a party to the transaction between organizers and attendees beyond providing ticketing infrastructure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tixio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid to us for the event related to the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately; certain obligations (payment, indemnity) survive termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
